Mind & Body How to build a habit that survives a bad week

About The Vitaignita Digest

The Vitaignita Digest has published since 2022. We write about mind & body, four legs, in the garden, motoring and travel, with a bias toward advice that still holds up months after the novelty has worn off.

How we work

We buy what we test and we live with it before writing about it. Where a recommendation depends on circumstances, we say so rather than pretending a single answer fits everyone.

  • We prefer the boring option when it is the correct one.
  • We revisit older articles when the underlying advice changes.
  • We say plainly when we have not tested something ourselves.

Who writes here

Ellis Verity, Managing Editor. Ellis reports on four legs, and prefers the boring answer when it is the correct one.

Yara Sorrentino, Senior Editor. Yara writes about the practical end of motoring, and is happiest when a recommendation survives six months of real use.

Farah Rowntree, Senior Editor. Farah has spent the last decade covering travel, and keeps a spreadsheet nobody asked for.

Beatrix Blackwood, Contributing Writer. Beatrix writes the weekly column on in the garden, and prefers the boring answer when it is the correct one.
